Spinsight becomes an Official Technical Partner of the DTTB, TTBL and myTischtennis
The DTTB, TTBL and myTischtennis are delighted to welcome Spinsight as their “Official Technical Partner”, a company that combines cutting-edge technology with the world’s fastest return game.
Tischtennis Marketing GmbH has secured another strong partner for the German Table Tennis Association (DTTB), the Table Tennis Bundesliga (TTBL) and the myTischtennis platform: Spinsight will become the “Official Technical Partner” of German table tennis.
The company, based in Hofheim in Lower Franconia, combines table tennis with digital analysis technology and develops innovative systems for real-time measurement of spin, speed and other parameters in table tennis. The aim is to take training, coaching and performance development to a new level. Behind Spinsight is the ESN Technology Group, the world’s leading manufacturer of innovative premium table tennis rubbers “Made in Germany”.
Analysing performance data via an app
At the heart of the offering is an app-based technology that allows players and coaches to analyse detailed performance data immediately. Through automatic visualisation, users gain an easily comprehensible, objective insight into their own game and can compare their personal impressions with real data. Among other things, the Spinsight app enables faster learning, data-driven decisions, the analysis of individual strengths and weaknesses, comparison with others, and the measurement of performance progress.
Dr Wolfgang Dörner, Chairman of the DTTB, says: “Spinsight embodies innovation and forward thinking in table tennis. The combination of technology, coaching and sports development fits perfectly with our aim to further develop table tennis in Germany at all levels – from grassroots to the elite.”
myTischtennis Managing Director Jochen Lang also sees great potential in the collaboration: “Digital tools and data-driven training methods are playing an increasingly important role in table tennis. Spinsight brings exciting approaches to the table that appeal to ambitious club players as well as coaches and talented young players.”
TTBL Managing Director Nico Stehle adds: “Table tennis is the fastest racket sport in the world and, at the same time, a sport that lends itself perfectly to technological innovation. Spinsight manages to make complex performance data understandable and emotionally engaging. This also opens up exciting prospects for the professional sector.”
Spinsight Managing Director Dr Hans Persson explains: “We are very much looking forward to working together to take table tennis in Germany to a new level. Our aim is to provide players of all ability levels with a new approach to training and development. Together, we want to make innovation in table tennis visible and tangible.”
Spinsight has been involved in table tennis for several years now and works with federations, clubs and coaches, amongst others, to further develop digital training and analysis tools. The training technology has been in use since 2021 in the training of coaches and in competitive sport. Furthermore, Spinsight also supports numerous top talents and players – including national player Annett Kaufmann, who has been using Spinsight since 2021.
